Cameron Diaz Fitness,Diet Plan and Workout Routine

, by Unknown

Cameron Diaz is one of the fittest stars in Hollywood, and has one of the fittest body among ladies nearing their 40′s. She looked smoking hot in her movie “Bad Teacher” (seriously, who wouldnt want a teacher like that). The 5’9″ tall leggy lady had to act opposite ex Justin Timberlake, and nothing better to make your ex jealous than show off your awesome legs, isnt it? She credits her diet and workout routine for her amazing figure, so lets find out how Cameron Diaz plans her diet and workout.

Cameron Diaz Diet Plan:

It was only after she crossed 30 that Cameron Diaz actually started checking on her weight and what she ate

Cameron Diaz admitted she never watched her weight when she was young, but when she crossed her 30′s she had to keep a check on what went into her mouth. Now dating professional athlete Alex Rodriguez, she has taken to workout and keeping fit, while maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She says:
I am off the fried foods. I’m very thoughtful about what I eat. If you’re gonna do heavy lifting, and you want to stay small, you have to watch what you eat. You have to give your body the right nutrients and really think about what’s best for it.
Being tall is something which comes in handy for her. Cameron Diaz loves to look lean rather than look curvy. Looking lean is a bit easy for tall women. Add to the fact that she loves hitting the gym and working out, looking lean is not a big deal any way.
Cameron loves to follow a high protein and low carbohydrates diet (gym freak gym freak !!), which can be found in skinless chicken breast, nuts and seeds, fruits and vegetables and eggs and lean meats. She does have cravings, but even if she has to grab a burger, she will just take a small serving of it.
Cameron Diaz likes to start her day with a tasty good sized breakfast to power her through the day, and her breakfast is usually composed of large amounts of carbohydrates, which reduce as the day progresses, while the protein intake starts rising as the day wears on. She eats 5-6 small meals a day, making sure never to skip breakfast.
While she had vowed to stay away from pork, saying that a pig has the mental capacity of a 3 yr old child, but however she started eating pork again. Cameron Diaz says:
But I started eating pork again, because it’s so goddamned good. Food is one of my biggest pleasures. I love to eat. I love to cook. I love to feed people.
Typically, her breakfast consists of garlic rice broccolini, eggs, lemon and either chicken or beef. She has a protein shake and water after that. Salad, lean chicken or beef make up her lunch and fruits and nuts form her snack. Cameron Diaz has garlic rice broccolini, eggs, lemon and either chicken or beef for dinner, and ends her day with a protein shake.

Cameron Diaz Workout:

Cameron Diaz, who is nearing 40, believes:
I think you get better as you age. You know what you want, and you become stronger mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Diaz uses a large amounts of compound exercises in her training consisting of, squatspush ups, pullupsseated rows, bench press, triceps dipsinverted rows, etc. Her workout routine consists of resistance training, pilates, aerobics and cardio.

However this was not the case. Before she was offered Charlie’s Angels, Cameron Diaz and gym had no relation. However she had to exercise for 8 hours a day, 5 times a week for 3 months, and that is where her love for working out developed. Now Cameron Diaz says:
“I love being physical. I love sweating. I love getting my heart rate up. I love challenging myself. Physically, I can do pretty much anything I put my mind to, and I like that feeling.”
Her exercise regimen includes working out for 30 minutes on the elliptical trainer and another 30 minutes on lightweights, reverse lunges and pilates. Cameron Diaz also loves hiking, surfing, and snowboarding.
Cameron Diaz also follows a tight HIIT training schedule. You are required to walk for a minute at a mild incline and then jog at double the incline for half a minute, and keep on switching like this for 15 minutes. However, she had also been seen using the cycle and the elliptical trainer.
One of the main components of her exercise are lunges and squats ( that explains her hot legs in Bad Teacher) which are very helpful when you are looking to tone up your hips, legs and thighs. Cameron Diaz works out 5 days a week, rotating her workout between cardio, strength training and pilates.
Though this is not the exact workout that Cameron Diaz follows, this is a workout that many people follow to get toned and shapely legs and buttocks, just like Cameron Diaz has.
  • Squats- 3 sets, 8-10 reps
  • Dumbbell Deadlift- 3 sets, 10 reps
  • Lunges- 3 sets, 10 reps
  • Medicine Ball squats and throws- 3 sets of 15 reps
  • Dumbbell side lunges – 3 sets of 45 seconds each leg.
