Cheryl Cole is one of the most popular celebrities in Britain due to her music career and her years as a judge on television X Factor. She even, very nearly, managed to get a job on the US version of the X Factor.

The media has claimed that Cheryl Cole has spent ridiculous amounts of money on her workouts and diet. It has even been claimed that Cheryl Cole spent 36,000 pounds on a vacuum exercise bike that is specially designed to target fat on the tummy, bum and thighs. How it targets those particular areas is anyone’s guess but that is the claim it makes.
The truth is you do not need to spend a small fortune on fancy gym equipment to follow Cheryl Cole’s workout habit. Her workout and diet is surprisingly simple and easy to follow.
When Cheryl Cole was first with her band, Girls Aloud, she weighed in at 9 stone. Once she started to workout regularly and eat properly she managed to drop her weight down to 8 a slender 8 stone.


Cheryl says that one of the biggest factors in her weight loss is all of the dancing that she needs to do with Girls Aloud. She actually, some days fits in a whopping 8 hours of dance rehearsal. She actually says that she challenges anyone to dance for 8 hours a day and not lose weight. You don’t need to be doing 8 hours of dance a day to replicate Cheryl Cole’s workout. Even half an hour of moderate dancing is a great way of burning seven calories a minute. That is 420 calories in an hour. If you are feeling really energetic it is worth noting that a vigorous dance session such as Salsa aerobics will burn a whopping 100 calories in 10 minutes.



Cheryl also follows a gym based workout routine. Cheryl Cole will start her workouts with a good cardio session which consists of a 30 minute run on the treadmill. This will put her body well into fat burning mode. She will then spend the next 60 minutes using weights to perform squats, lunges, leg curls, curls, chest presses, shoulder presses, and pull downs. This will help keep her muscles tight and well-toned.
Cheryl Cole also follows a healthy diet to help maintain her stunning sexy figure. Most of her diet basically is based around eating plenty of protein but not eating many carbohydrates. This will help Cheryl Cole maintain her weight because when we eat carbohydrates, such as sugars, our body is unable to burn off fat until all of the stored carbohydrates are burnt.
It is for this reason Cheryl Cole will start the day by eating proteins and keep her carb intake to a bare minimum. She also makes sure that she eats small meals but often. This way she is only consuming what she needs to function and the risk of left over foods been stored as fat is reduced.
It will come as relief to most that Cheryl Cole says that it is important to pig out at least once a week just to keep you sane. She usually pigs out on a Sunday as this is usually the day in which she is hung over.
