Selena Marie Gomez was born on July 22, 1992 (I am exactly 2 years older to her) in Grand Prairie Texas. Her acting career started when she was 7, and Selena was discovered by Disney channel in 2004. Her singing career started around 2008, for the album DisneyMania 6. Currently dating (romancing, seeing, choose your term folks) teen pop sensation Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez is the pin-up girl for many a guys around the world (admit it, you’ll love her looks). Selena Gomez is no tall celebrity, measuring in at 5’5″ tall and with a figure measurement of 34-26-36. She has been noticed going in and out of gyms many times, so lets find out exactly what she does in there.

Selena Gomez gives much of the credit of her physical appearance to her age. She prefers not to overeat and avoids gaining too much weight as she hates working out.( Prevention is better than cure, eh?). Stress due to her career and crazy schedule enable her to burn more calories and eat limited amounts of food.
However we did mention she has been spotted in the gym, Selena Gomez infact does workout a little, but mostly cardio workouts consume her time in the gym. She performs cardio to increase her stamina and strength. The reason she works out despite hating it is because working out helps you to consume more calories and have a balanced diet, a lack of which results in horrors she has witnessed in her life (read: fainted and malnourished)
But considering she hates working out, Selena Gomez prefers to keep her exercise to running, cycling and the cross trainer workouts, not to forget her dance workouts and aerobics. She has no intentions of looking like the female Arnold Schwarzenegger, so there is no weight training for her, just a minimum body weight training.
In short, Selena Gomez is a fit healthy youngster who has a hectic lifestyle with lots of travel, interviews and meetings. All these burn a lot of calories. Selena Gomez is in great shape primarily because she never forgets to stick to her diet plan and does cardio regularly, whenever she has the time. (So what if she is not possessed by a need to get six packs like lover Justin Bieber?) This saves her from going on crash diets and doing complex Yoga exercises.
